AgustaWestland case: Court grants five-day police custody for Christian Michel
Christian Michel was brought to New Delhi in a special aircraft late last night and was taken to the CBI headquarters, where he was questioned through the night.

The Central Bureau of Investigation sought police custody of Christian Michel, as they wanted an access to all the classified documents presently under Michel's possession. During his hearing, Christian Michel had also moved a bail plea. The Court, however, kept this bail plea pending for next hearing.
Christian Michel was brought to New Delhi in a special aircraft late last night and was taken to the CBI headquarters, where he was questioned through the night.
Christian Michel, the alleged middleman in the Rs 3,600-crore AgustaWestland VVIP chopper deal, has been accused of bribing politicians, officials and journalists to swing the deal.
Addressing a rally in Dausa, Rajasthan, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said Christian Michel will reveal all the names in his confession shortly. He also hit out at Rahul Gandhi's brother-in-law Robert Vadra, saying he will not be spared once the BJP forms the government in the state and said a similar fate would also befell former minister P. Chidambaram.
He also underwent a medical examination in the presence of customs and other officials after he completed the immigration procedure late last night. He was out on bail after he was arrested in the UAE on the basis of an Interpol notice.
