After Vyapam, it's raining scams in Madhya Pradesh
Petitions have been filed in the Supreme Court aseeking action against private medical colleges for allegedly rigging the DMAT and trading in the management and MP quota seats.

BHOPAL | INDORE: Even as the Vyapam case continues to boil, allegations of similar or even larger scams are being raised with activists seeking, or planning to seek, court intervention.
Ratlam-based former MLA Paras Saklecha plans to approach the Madhya Pradesh high court to investigate alleged irregularities in recruitments by the Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission. “This scam is even bigger than Vyapam. Many big IAS and IPS officers and politicians have got their relatives government jobs,” he alleged.
Indore-based activist Anand Rai and Saklecha have separately filed petitions in the Supreme Court and before the Jabalpur bench of the Madhya Pradesh high court, respectively, seeking action against private medical colleges for allegedly rigging the Dental and Medical Admissions Test ( DMAT) and trading in the management quota as well as MP quota seats.
While Rai’s petition focuses on the state quota seats, which are linked directly to the Vyapam process, Saklecha is focusing on the alleged fraud in the proportion of seats filled through the DMAT entrance exam.
