After Pranab Mukherjee, Ratan Tata to attend RSS function
RSS -affiliated NGO, Nana Palkar Smriti Samiti, has its premises near the Tata Memorial Centre in Mumbai and has been serving the patients from the hospital.

Though a formal announcement of the programme is yet to be made, the event will reportedly take place on August 24.
This comes a month after former President Pranab Mukherjee attended another RSS function in the party's Nagpur headquarters.
Nana Palkar Smriti Samiti (NPSS), an NGO dedicated to service of patients, is learnt to have invited Tata along with Mohan Bhagwat for its annual event.
NPSS has its 10 storied premises near the Tata Memorial Centre in Mumbai and has been reportedly serving primarily the patients from the cancer hospital.
Ratan Tata had earlier met RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat in December 2016 when he visited the Nagpur-based headquarter of RSS. Tata Trusts have been involved in various charity projects in Nagpur. They had initiated an outreach centre of the cancer hospital in the city and have also halped in revamping a 150-year-old mental hospital in the city.
The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh brass will hold a 3-day meeting with its provincial heads in Gujarat’s Somnath from Tuesday to plan RSS activities for the next year and decide on issues related to its functioning, including tour plans and assignments for pracharaks.
This year, taking RSS to every mandal in every district and beginning preparations to commemorate 100 years of the RSS in 2025 will be focus points of the meeting that will see all 43 prant heads of the RSS, including RSS national office-bearers in attendance.
