After PM-in-waiting, it is CMs-in-waiting in BJP: Congress
Congress on Wednesday took a dig at the BJP claiming that it has several "squabbling" Chief Ministers- in-waiting in Uttar Pradesh.

"The BJP used to be a squabbling group at the centre with more than one PM-in-waiting. It has now been reduced in UP to the smallest possible squabbling group of many CMs-in- waiting," party spokesman Abhishek Singhvi said at the AICC briefing.
He also claimed that the BJP was "close to vanishing point" in poll-bound states in the North- Uttar Pradesh as well as Uttarakhand where it is in power and in Punjab where it is an ally of the ruling Akali Dal.
In spite of the fact that no one was talking of BJP as having either first, second or third slot in Uttar Pradesh, it was still having "squabbling" among leaders over the Chief Ministership, Singhvi said, adding that the party was "disappearing" in U P.
He said in Uttarakhand, people are asking again and again as to how the same party can seek their vote when on its own admission they have changed their Chief Minister on the grounds of "mis-governance and corruption."
Singhvi claimed in Punjab the people are fearful of touching the BJP with the bargepole because "it is the kiss of death if the BJP supports you in Punjab."
"In Punjab even the allies of the BJP are fearful that while self destructing themselves, the BJP will also destroy the allies," he remarked.
