After PK, a telugu film invites ire of right-wingers
Following protests against “PK“, an upcoming Telugu film has earned the ire of a right-wing outfit, for alleged “un-parliamentary“ portrayal of Hindu gods.

In a representation submitted to Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC), BGUS, the organiser of annual Ganesh Chaturthi festivities in Hyderabad, said a negative depiction of revered deities hurts the religious sentiments of the majority community and may lead to disturbance in society.
“Gopala Gopala“, whose promos have been released recently, is said to be a dubbed version of 2012 Bollywood film “Oh My God!“ The outfit has based its complaint on content of the teaser though the film is still to be completed.
The just-released “PK' has been accused by right-wing outfits of being disrespectful to Hinduism, a charge denied by its director Rajkumar Hirani.
