KOLKATA: West Bengal government today declassified 64 Files related to Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose. A total of 12744 pages of 64 files have been digitised by the Kolkata police .

Digital copies of the files were handed over to the family members by Surajit Kar Purakayastha, commissioner of Kolkata police. Former TMC MP and family member Krishna Bose, Netaji's grand nephew Chandra Bose and other members were present in the programme.

Chief minister Mamata Banerjee announced declassification of the files on September 11. The files have been preserved in glass panels in Kolkata Police Museum in north Kolkata . Arrangements were made for the researchers who want to scan through the files , said CP. The museum will be open for public Monday onwards, he added.
