Vinod, an advocate, submitted the complaint seeking a probe into denotification of lands during the rule of Krishna, now External Affairs Minister, H D Devegowda, his son H D Kumaraswamy and N Dharam Singh as Chief Ministers.

Yeddyurappa was the Deputy Chief Minister in JD(S)-BJP coalition government.
