ADAG employees given clean chit in Borge's death case
Borge's death is being treated as an accident, murder or suicide ruled out.
Based on the statements of witnesses in the case, Borge's death is being treated as an accident since the possibilities of murder and suicide have been ruled out, ACP (GRP) Prakash Sawant told reporters.
"However, investigations are still on," he said. "We are not treating the case as (one of) suicide since we have not found any indication that Borge planned to take his own life. He had even told his sister that he would visit his family in Satara on May 7," he said.
Three Anil Dhirubhai Ambani Group employees, who were interrogated by the police, were found to be innocent, he said.
Borge, a technician with Airworks, was the first to spot pebbles in Anil Ambani's helicopter. He was given a clean chit by the crime branch in the alleged sabotage case. In a mysteriious turn of events, on April 28 he was found dead near suburban Andheri railway tracks.
