Actor Sonakshi Sinha orders Bose headphone on Amazon, gets rusted iron pieces

"Shopper orders online a mobile phone, gets a brick instead". With rise of e-commerce shopping trends in India, there have been several reports like this in past couple of years when shoppers received junk items in place of their orders. Months after a Maharashtra man tweeted a delivery of brick instead of ordered mobile phone, celebrity actor Sonakshi Sinha has shared her shocking online shopping experience on the micro-blogging site.

Upset over the wrong delivery, the actor tweeted a picture of a rusted iron pieces she received instead of the Bose earphones. According to Sonakshi Sinha's Twitter post, she ordered a Bose headphone worth Rs 18,000, but instead got rusted iron pieces inside the packed box.

"Hey AmazonIN! Look what i got instead of the @bose headphones I ordered! Properly packed and unopened box, looked legit... but only on the outside," Sinha tweeted.


The post went viral on the social media and the e-commerce company had to apologise for that. The company asked Sinha to share details for quick redressal.

In October this year, a man in Maharashtra's Aurangabad had filed a complaint against a leading online retailer for allegedly sending him a piece of brick instead of a mobile handset that he ordered. Gajanan Kharat, a resident of HUDCO area in Aurangabad, filed a case in October against the wrong delivery.
