ABVP launched campaign against Bangladeshi infiltrators

Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) on Thursday launched an awareness drive against the Bangladeshi infiltrators.

AMRAVATI: Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) on Thursday launched an awareness drive against the Bangladeshi infiltrators.

Its activists resorted to 'Ghantanad' (tolling of bells) here at Rajkamal Square to launch the campaign.

The student wing of the BJP alleged Bangladeshis were illegally entering into the country and changing the demography of states like Assam, West Bengal, Bihar and Mizoram, creating cultural, social, economical and political problems.

ABVP will be creating awareness on the issue by distributing hand bills in the colleges, organising speeches, signature drive and by sending SMSes.

The drive will conclude on August 14.
