KALNA: A Akhil Bharatiya VVidyarthi Parishad ( ABVP) activist has lodged a police complaint against Trinamool Congress Chatra Parishad ( TMCP) leaders for allegedly manhandling and molesting them at Kalna college in Burdwan district.

The complaint was lodged against TMCP state vice president Sandip Basu and five others by the ABVP activist alleging that they manhanled and molested them when they went to file nomination for Kalna College Students' Union election yesterday.

The complaint has been filed with the Kalna police station late last night against Sandip Basu and five others, the police said.

A group of BJP workers including some ABVP activists were allegedly assaulted by Trinamool Congress supporters when they gathered to file nominations for the upcoming students' union election in Kalna College.
