Abdul Nasser Madani shifted to Manipal Hospital
Karnataka High Court, while rejecting his bail plea, had in last year permitted him to avail treatment in a hospital of his choice under police escort.

Madani, arrested in connection with the 2008 serial bomb blasts here, was shifted from Soukhya Hospital to the Manipal Hospital at around 2 AM after he complained of tiredness and giddiness, Medical Advisory Board of Manipal Hospitals (MHS) Chairman Dr Sudarshan Ballal told PTI.
His condition was "quite stable" and doctors were examining him, Ballal said.
Madani, lodged in the Central Prison here since his arrest in August, 2010, was admitted to Soukhya Hospital on January 7 for treatment of diabetes and related eye complication.
