Abducted NTPC employees rescued in Jharkhand

The three employees were abducted from Lohandi village under Lalmatia police station of Godda district.

NEW DELHI: Three employees of National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC), who were abducted on October six from a village in Jharkhand, were rescued on Sunday.

The employees -- D J Acharya, Subrata Dam and M R Ansari -- were rescued by a police search party this morning from a jungle area under Mahagama police station limit of Godda district, a NTPC statement said here.

It said arrangements are being made for the medical examination of the captives.

The three employees were abducted from Lohandi village under Lalmatia police station of the district.
