AAP’s national voyage: Can it replicate Delhi’s success in metros like Gurgaon, Mumbai, Bangalore?

That question can lead to another tempting conclusion: if AAP could take Delhi by storm, surely it can replicate its success in other metros — and indeed all over a country in which corruption and a lack of transparency in governance are a universal bugbear.
It isn’t, of course, that straightforward. But if an emboldened AAP has embarked on an all-India recruitment drive with the aim of garnering 1 crore members by January 26, it’s because the party’s leader Arvind Kejriwal and his core team have sensed an opportunity to go in for the big kill — the general elections that are around the corner.
