NEW DELHI: Aam Aadmi Party has launched a fresh campaign against BJP's Chief Ministerial candidate by plastering hundreds of auto-rickshaws with images featuring "honest" Kejriwal and "opportunist" Bedi.

The party quietly replaced the earlier posters that featured Jagdish Mukhi which saw the miffed BJP leader sending a legal notice to the AAP chief for "misuing" his photo.

BJP called the posters "ridiculous", slamming AAP for terming Bedi as "opportunist".

"It is highly ridiculous. People of Delhi know who is truly an opportunist," BJP spokesman Sambit Patra said accusing AAP of making a personal attack on her.

However, AAP, maintained that "opportunist" was a political term that "fits perfectly" on Bedi.

"Opportunist is a political term that fits perfectly on her. We are not calling her a Naxalite, anarchist, or bhagoda, that have been used against Kejriwal," AAP leader Sanjay Singh said.

AAP has also come up with a plan to connect with the Poorvanchali voters in the national capital who the party thinks are not "well-represented" despite their large presence in terms of population.

"10 of our candidates belong to the Poorvanchal region unlike two to three fielded by Congress and BJP. In spite of their large population, they are not well-represented and have been historically neglected. So we going to connect with them in a major way," Singh said.
