AAP's 6 months in office a failure: BJP
BJP has alleged that the new dispensation has misused power and claims that the government has burdened Delhiites with new taxes and fees.

In its hoardings, BJP lists out what the government has done and not done in the past six months. Increase in VAT by 20-25 per cent, Rs 526 crore expenditure on advertisement and appointment of 21 parliamentary secretaries are items on the 'done' list while no CCTV for women's safety, no free Wi-Fi, 100 new schools not opened and no registry of and development work in unauthorized colonies are on the 'not done' list. Kuljeet Singh Chahal, vice-president, Delhi BJP, said, "AAP's first six months of rule has been a big failure."
Accusing chief minister Arvind Kejriwal of depriving people of basic amenities, leader of opposition Vijender Gupta said, "The AAP government has misused power and extorted people. Instead of carrying out development work, the government has been misguiding people by picking up fights with the Union government and the lieutenant governor," Gupta said.
BJP claims that the government has burdened Delhiites with new taxes and fees. "Prices have gone up due to increase in VAT. The government has imposed entry fee on commercial vehicles and proposed increase in circle rates," Gupta said.
