AAP win finds echo in UP wish for change

NOIDA/GHAZIABAD: With the declaration of Delhi election results, the UP-NCR hopes that the wave of change would also leave a positive impact on Ghaziabad and Gautam Budh Nagar districts, which are reeling under poor governance and anti-industrial environment. The two regions are fed up with the poor performance of UP government and residents, industrialists and real estate giants of are awaiting change.

Meanwhile, a wave of happiness spread in Ghaziabad's Kaushambi where AAP party chief Arvind Kejriwal lives as residents have high expectations from their neighbour. At the same time, they hope that with a clear mandate to BJP in three states, there would not be any roadblock to development. Residents are waiting for AAP to enter UP and end the monopoly of regional parties.

"With his honesty and dedication, Kejriwal has changed the temperament of Indian politics," said Gulshan Sadana, a social worker, neighbour and friend of the AAP chief.

Industrialists hopethe poll results will leave a positive impact on the sagging realty market. "The exit polls had given a boost to the sensex. Now that actual results are out, the sector which provides employment to crores of people is expected to be revived soon," said RK Arora, CMD Supertech and vice-president CREDAI (west UP). "The results will help in generating positive sentiments," said Amit Gupta, MD, Orris Infrastructure.
