AAP to contest Bengaluru municipal body polls on all 198 wards: Manish Sisodia
Although AAP had made preparations to fight the corporation polls in 2015, it decided to stay out of the citing that the party had not gained much ground in the city.

“We will talk about only developmental work and not indulge in any sort of caste politics,” he told reporters after visiting the party’s first Aam Aadmi Clinic in the city on Wednesday.
The Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) council completed its term in September and the elections are likely to be held by March. Although AAP had made preparations to fight the corporation polls in 2015, it decided to stay out of the citing that the party had not gained much ground in the city.
This time, however, the party leaders are making serious talks of contesting the election. “AAP volunteers have started this free clinic even though we are not in power in Bengaluru. We will develop three such clinics in each ward if the party comes to power in the BBMP,” Sisodia said.
AAP Karnataka unit convener Prithvi Reddy said that people do not need a government which does not provide basic amenities like healthcare and education. “According to a poll conducted, around 70% of people in Bengaluru need a governance similar to AAP led Delhi model,” he said.
