A day after AAP dropped him as deputy leader and informed Rajya Sabha secretariat not to allot party's time to him, the MP retaliated and released a video in his defence.
"Whenever I get a chance to speak in Parliament I raise public issues. Maybe I raise topics not usually raised, but is raising public issues a crime?... Have I done something wrong?" Chadha asked in a video message on X. The party hit back and pointed out that Rajya Sabha is not for "soft PR". "A small party has a limited time and it is more important to talk about larger issues of the country rather than samosas," said Delhi AAP chief Saurabh Bharadwaj.
Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann said it seemed Chadha was "compromised". "He has refused to take on Modi. He refused to walk out when all Opposition parties walked out."
