AAP rebels claim support of 70 national executive members
NEW DELHI: Rebel AAP members Ashwini Upadhyay, Rajesh Gupta and expelled AAP MLA Vinod Kumar Binny today claimed support of 70 out of 300 members of the party's national executive which will meet on Sunday to choose a new leadership.

"We have carried out a survey among party cadre which reveals that most of them want a change in the current party leadership. As per the party's constitution 10 per cent members of the executive can call its meeting which will be held on April 6 at Jantar Mantar where we will choose the new leadership," said Upadhyay.

Speaking on the occasion, Binny said AAP was constituted to fight corruption and it is not the private company of four or five people.

The trio also alleged that party tickets for most seats in the Lok Sabha elections were pre-decided.
