JALANDHAR: The Aam Aadmi Party today said that it will enrol 25 lakh members in Punjab by the end of the next month.

Launching a membership drive in the state yesterday, party leader and Jalandhar Zonal Supervisor Rajiv Chaudhary said the drive has been started keeping in mind state Assembly elections scheduled in 2017.

"The membership drive will continue till September 30. The aim is to enrol 25 lakh new members with 1 lakh members to be enrolled everyday," he said.

The party also plans to issue a toll-free number and people can be a member of the party by giving a 'missed call' to the number, he added.
