Singh's statement came amidst a controversy over the Enforcement Directorate's actions against Kejriwal, which Singh described as baseless and without evidence. According to Singh, the Rouse Avenue Court had cleared Kejriwal of any wrongdoing, criticizing the ED for acting with malicious intent. Singh further accused the ED of obtaining an unconstitutional stay on Kejriwal's bail from the High Court.
"The parties of the INDIA alliance had unanimously decided that we will protest against the misuse of ED and CBI in the Parliament premises tomorrow at 10:30 am"
Earlier, the Delhi BJP President, Virendra Sachdeva, denied all AAP allegations, stating that central agencies are performing their duties and courts decide based on evidence.
'If you've committed a crime, be prepared to face consequences,' he told ANI. Sachdeva also accused the AAP government of corruption.
The Delhi Court has remanded Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal to CBI custody until July 12 in an excise policy case. BJP welcomed the decision, while AAP labeled it a 'conspiracy'."
