AAP leader Atishi lashes out at BJP, says PM trying to topple state governments

The prime minister is using central agencies to break opposition parties and form a BJP government in non-BJP ruled states, said Atishi.
“We are looking at this in the entire country. In Maharashtra, how BJP formed the government by breaking Shiv Sena. Before Maharashtra, we saw in Goa, Karnataka, Manipur and some other states how BJP tries to form its government in states by breaking ruling parties,” Times Now quoted Atishi as saying.
Atishi’s remarks came hours after Delhi’s Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia claimed that he was approached by the BJP with the offer to close all cases against him if he joined their party.
"Got a message from BJP - Split AAP and join BJP and in return we will close all CBI, ED cases. My reply to BJP was that I am a descendant of Maharana Pratap and a Rajput. I will not bow down before the corrupt and conspirators. All the cases registered against me are false. Do whatever you want to do," the tweet in Hindi read.
Sisodia is facing probe from the CBI in the Delhi liquor scam case. He alleged that the CBI had issued a Look Out Circular against him. However, the CBI clarified that LOC has been issued against 8 persons in the case and there was no clarity on Sisodia's name.
"This is the same person who approached Mukul Roy, Suvendu Adhikari, Himanta Biswa Sarma and Baijayant Jay Panda. You can ask them who is it to whom BJP has given this responsibility," Times Now reported citing Atishi.
