AAP launches 'MLA office at your doorstep' initiative in Punjab

DAKHA (PB): With a view to ensure that the benefits of government schemes reached the public, the Aam Aadmi Party in Punjab today launched the 'MLA at your doorstep' initiative.

Leader of Opposition in the Assembly HS Phoolka launched the service at Chakk village in his Dakha Assembly segment.

Phoolka said under the initiative, mobile vans will be sent to every Assembly segment to assist the people as regards various government services and schemes at their doorsteps.

"In addition, grievances of the public will also be addressed by offering them an interface with the government," he added.

The entire state has been divided into 20 zones and each day, the mobile vans will cover four zones, Phoolka said.

This way, each zone will be covered every week and all the villages will be covered in a week, he added.
