AAP declares 2 Lok Sabha, 6 assembly candidates from Gujarat
The party is yet to declare its candidate against BJP's PM candidate Narendra Modi, who is contesting from the Vadodara Lok Sabha seat.

"The Aam Aadmi party has announced two more of its candidates namely Mohan Patel from Surat Lok Sabha seat and Govind Danecha from the Kutch Lok Sabha seat," AAP spokesperson said.
"Mohan Patel, a retired Customs officer has been considered an honest officer during his tenure," the AAP spokesperson said.
"Dhanecha, our candidate from Kutch, was associated with a non-governmental organisation and has worked for women's empowerment and training of unemployed youth," the spokesperson said.
With these announcements, AAP has declared its 21 candidates out of 26 seats in Gujarat.
However, the party is yet to declare its candidate against BJP's prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi, who is contesting from the Vadodara Lok Sabha seat.
"AAP will also contest all by-elections to the Gujarat legislative assembly. Today, AAP declared six candidates out of seven assembly constituecies," the party spokesperson said.
"Meram Manjeriya will contest from Lathi in Amreli district, Dhiru Bhakhar from Visavadar of Junagadh district, Savarajsinh Sodha from Abdasa of Kutch district, Farukh Umar from Himmatnagar of Sabarkantha district, Rajak Baloch from Somnath of Gir-Somnath district and Pravin Vasava from Mandvi assembly seat of Surat district will contest by-polls," he said.
"AAP will announce candidates for Rapar constituency very soon," he said.
AAP's candidate for Abdasa assembly seat Savajarj Sodha (26) is a poet and essayist who has been fighting against water scarcity in Kutch.
