The reshuffle comes after the party’s defeat in Delhi, prompting a strategic reorganisation.
Following a Parliamentary Affairs Committee meeting at national convenor Arvind Kejriwal’s residence, the party named Saurabh Bhardwaj as the Delhi unit chief and appointed Mehraj Malik as the head of the Jammu and Kashmir unit.
Here are the new leadership roles assigned to the party members:
- Saurabh Bhardwaj: Delhi unit chief
- Manish Sisodia: Punjab unit chief
- Gopal Rai: Gujarat unit chief
- Pankaj Gupta: Goa unit chief
- Sandeep Pathak: Chhattisgarh unit chief
Manish Sisodia, now leading the Punjab unit, will oversee organisational work and ensure the implementation of AAP’s agenda in the state. He will coordinate with the state convenor and office bearers to strengthen governance, focusing on health and education reforms. According to ANI sources, Sisodia will play a key role in shaping the “Punjab Model” in the coming months.
