‘Aankh Maarta Hai’: Rijiju mocks Rahul’s 2018 ‘Wink and Hug’ in LS, calls LoP’s conduct non-serious

Union Minister Kiren Rijiju criticised Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi, accusing him of displaying a non-serious attitude in the Lok Sabha. Responding to questions over why Rahul Gandhi was not allowed to speak in the House, Rijiju said the Congress leader’s conduct does not reflect the seriousness expected from a Leader of Opposition. The minister also referenced Rahul Gandhi’s 2018 “wink and hug” episode in Parliament, using it to question his behaviour during proceedings.
