Aam Aadmi Party to file complaint against Kapil Sibal
NEW DELHI: Accusing law minister and senior Congress leader Kapil Sibal of violating the model code of conduct, Aam Aadmi Party said it would approach the election commission to file a complaint against the Congress MP from Chandni Chowk.

AAP senior member Sanjay Singh said that water purifiers bearing Sibal's photo and the Congress symbol had been distributed in the Chandni Chowk area.

"The presence of the Congress symbol on the purifier proves that Sibal has violated the model code of conduct and the matter will be raised before the election commission. It is a form of bribing," said Singh, who had displayed one of these filters during a press conference on Friday.

However, Sibal completely rubbished the allegations. "Does AAP have any proof that I or any member of my family has distributed these water filters? Have they seen me distribute anything? Anybody could have used my picture and this could be an attempt to create trouble. I have never conducted any violation of the model code of conduct and have not distributed these filters, before or after the model code of conduct was implemented. AAP has a habit of leveling allegations and not supplying any proof," said Sibal.
