A slap on the face of UPA Govt: CPI(ML-Liberation)

The slapping of Union Minister Sharad Pawar was a manifestation of growing anger of people against the UPA government.

PATNA: The slapping of Union Minister Sharad Pawar was a manifestation of growing anger of people against the UPA government as it had failed in curbing corruption and price rise, the CPI(ML-Liberation) alleged today.

"The slapping is a manifestation of people's growing anger against corruption and price rise...it is actually a slap on the face of UPA government for failing to rein in corruption and price rise," its general secretary Dipankar Bhattacharya told reporters.

He, however, said, "We do not believe in violent act."
