A hitchhiker's guide to Bengaluru's Budget this year

Citizens need to see improvement in their respective wards for the tax they pay, the Kiran Mazumdar-Shaw-led citizen advocacy group B.PAC told the city corporation last week.

“Half the tax collected in a ward should be spent for improvement in the same ward,“ B.PAC said while welcoming the proposed increase in the property taxes.
