A confident and smiling Prime Minister Manmohan Singh arrived in Parliament House flashing a 'V' indicating that the UPA has the numbers to win the crucial confidence vote in Lok Sabha.

NEW DELHI: A confident and smiling Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on Tuesday arrived in Parliament House flashing a 'V' indicating that the UPA has the numbers to win the crucial confidence vote in Lok Sabha.

75-year-old Singh took no questions from waiting reporters and only waved to camerapersons before going into his office there.

Singh, who moved the confidence motion in the House yesterday, is expected to reply to the debate in the evening after which voting on the issue is scheduled.
