9 yrs RI for man who gave Sanju AK-56

The special TADA court on Friday sentenced Samir Hingora, who had supplied AK-56 rifle to film actor Sanjay Dutt, to nine years' rigorous imprisonment and imposed a fine of Rs two lakhs.

MUMBAI: The special TADA court on Friday sentenced Samir Hingora, who had supplied AK-56 rifle to film actor Sanjay Dutt, to nine years' rigorous imprisonment and imposed a fine of Rs two lakhs.

The court also sentenced Shaikh Mohammed Ehtesham, who participated in the Shekhadi landing and transportation of arms and ammunition, to ten years' rigorous imprisonment and asked to pay a fine of Rs 50,000.
