9 oil tankers set ablaze in Jagun by suspected militants

GUWAHATI: Suspected militants belonging to Khaplang faction of NSCN on Tuesday set ablaze nine oil carrying tankers in Jagun in Assam.

A police team has rushed to the area as the following the incident fear psychosis has gripped the area.

Additional director general of Assam Police (special branch) PallabBhattacharya told ET, “Police team has rushed and details are awaited.”


The place is a stronghold of Khaplang militants and is along the interstate border of Arunachal Pradesh
