6 civilians killed as Gaza hit by new Israeli strike

GAZA CITY: Six Palestinian civilians, including four children, were killed on Sunday in an Israeli strike in the north of the Gaza Strip, while 10 bodies were discovered in Gaza City, medics and witnesses said.

The strike hit a house in Beit Lahiya, killing two women and four children, medics said.

Ten bodies were found in the rubble of houses in the Tal al-Hawa and Sheikh Ajlin neighbourhoods of Gaza City, where clashes raged throughout Saturday night, medics said.

Five of the bodies were of Hamas fighters, they said.
