3rd Test: India win toss, elect to bat

Indian captain Anil Kumble won the toss and elected to bat in the third cricket Test against Australia in Perth.

PERTH: Indian captain Anil Kumble won the toss and elected to bat in the third cricket Test against Australia in Perth on Wednesday.

Both the team have made two changes in the side that played in Sydney.

Australia have brought in fast bowler Shaun Tait in place of spinner Brad Hogg while injured Mathew Hayden has been replaced by Chris Rogers.

India have left out Yuvraj Singh and Harbhajan Singh. Virender Sehwag and Irfan Pathan have been included in their place.

Australia lead the four match series 2-0.
