Sourav Ganguly raced to his maiden double century to take India to a very comfortable position against Pakistan on the second day of the third and final Test in Bangalore.

BANGALORE: Sourav Ganguly raced to his maiden double century to take India to a very comfortable position against Pakistan on the second day of the third and final Test in Bangalore on Sunday.

Ganguly was ably supported by allrounder Irfan Pathan who slammed his 7th Test fifty to help India go past 500.

Dinesh Kaarthick (24) was the only wicket to fall on the day when he was scalped by Yasir Arafat in the morning session.
