347 cases settled in Lok Adalat in Vizianagaram

VIZIANAGARAM: As many as 347 cases were settled and over Rs 1.09 crore worth settlements made during the National Lok Adalat organised at the District Courts complex here today.

In a release here, District In-charge Judge B Srinivas Rao said that in a single day, 347 cases pertaining to criminal and other civil cases disposed in the Lok Adalat camp and the total settlement made in these cases was over Rs 1,09,19,123.

He called upon the parties involved in various civil and petty criminal cases to use Lok Adalats for early disposal of cases and said the litigants can save their money and valuable time by coming to a compromise at such camps.
