The court was informed that out of the 303 alleged victims, 47 failed to return to their workplace, 164 had been forcefully evicted from their homes and houses of 92 victims had been demolished.

Kolkata: The Calcutta High Court on Monday granted police protection to 303 post-poll violence victims in West Bengal. A Bench, comprising Chief Justice Prakash Shrivastava and Justice Rajrashi Bharadwaj, took on record a detailed affidavit filed by petitioner Priyanka Tibrewal, who appeared for the victims, on the names and contact details of 303 alleged victims

The court was informed that out of the 303 alleged victims, 47 failed to return to their workplace, 164 had been forcefully evicted from their homes and houses of 92 victims had been demolished.

The High Court also took on record the fourth status report filed by the CBI.
