3 Chinese held without valid documents near Indo-Nepal border

An Indian PAN card, two mobiles and a camera were recovered from them, Brijlal said, adding, intelligence agencies were interrogating them.

LUCKNOW/BAHRAICH: Three Chinese nationals, including a woman, were arrested near the Indo-Nepal border by paramilitary personnel for allegedly sneaking into the Indian territory and taking pictures of vital installations.

Liao Xing, Yu Dangli and Yang Liu were arrested by Shashastra Seema Bal ( SSB) personnel near Rupedhiya border yesterday when they were taking pictures of some important installations, Special Director General, Law and Order, Brijlal told reporters here.

An Indian PAN card, two mobiles and a camera were recovered from them, Brijlal said, adding, intelligence agencies were interrogating them.

He said the three Chinese nationals had come from Nepal and crossed into the Indian border without valid passports and visas. They were booked for illegally entering country and under the passport act.
