THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: "No cover up and no witch hunt" is the government policy, Defence Minister A K Antony on Sunday said, while declining to make any detailed comment on the row over the 2G spectrum issue.

Though he held that he was not for a public debate on the issue, Antony said "Wait and see", when asked what was the Congress' position on the demand for resignation of Telecom Minister A Raja over the alleged 2G spectrum allocation scam.

"I am a cabinet minister. I am not offering any comment. I have limitations. I am not for a public debate. Let us wait and see", Antony told journalists on the sidelines of a function here. "Our Government policy is no cover up..no witch hunt", he said.

When asked about Congress's response to the offer of support from AIADMK leader Jayalalithaa to the government in the event of DMK pull-out over Raja issue, he said, "Our party spokesperson has already made the (Congress) stand clear".
