2G Spectrum scam: Court tells Raja to pay attention

NEW DELHI: Special CBI Court advised former telecom minister A Raja and film producer Karim Morani, accused in the 2G scam, to be attentive in court and monitor its proceedings in order to protect their interests.

Special Special judge OP Saini said, "You must hear the proceedings carefully and if you think something is going wrong or your lawyer is saying anything incorrect, then you must point it out to the court," indicating that the accused should not leave their case to their legal counsel.

His remarks came as soon as Raja and the other accused entered the courtroom on Wednesday. "I hear all the proceedings," Raja responded to the court's advice.
