2G scam: Subramanian Swamy seeks resignation of P Chidambaram
NEW DELHI: Expressing happiness over the Delhi court order in 2G case, Janata Party chief Subramanian Swamy today supported BJP's demand for resignation of Home Minister P Chidambaram in the scam.

"In my opinion Chidamabaram should resign right away and not stand on technicalities. The apprehension about him is sufficient and the BJP is doing the right thing by saying he must resign," Swamy told reporters outside Parliament.

A Delhi court allowed Swamy to depose as a witness and lead further evidence in support of his complaint against Chidambaram in the 2G case.

The court has fixed December 17 as the date for Swamy's deposition.
