2G scam: Kusegaon executive in judicial custody

A trial court sent Kusegaon executive Rajiv Aggarwal, arrested in connection with the 2G spectrum allocation scam, to 14 days judicial custody.

NEW DELHI: A trial court sent Kusegaon executive Rajiv Aggarwal, arrested in connection with the 2G spectrum allocation scam, to 14 days judicial custody.

Special Judge O P Saini remanded Agarwal to judicial custody till April 19 after the CBI did not press for his further custodial interrogation.

CBI had earlier told court that his custody was required as directors of Cineyug Films Pvt Ltd, through which money was allegedly transferred to Kalaignar TV Pvt Ltd, would join probe and they need to be confronted with him.
