2G case: No strength in Kapil Sibal's defense, says JD(U)

JD(U) spokesman Shivanand Tiwari today said there was 'no substance or strength' in the statement of Telecom Minister Kapil Sibal's defending the 2G spectrum allocation.

"There is no strength in Kapi Sibal's defense on the issue," Tiwari told reporters here.

Hailing the Supreme Court's verdict cancelling allocation of 2G spectrum, Tiwari said "it proves beyond doubt that there has been a mega scam and irregularities in allocation."

He said he would give a detailed statement later after going through the verdict.
