25 injured in clash in Tripura

GUWAHATI: Tension is running high in left front ruled Tripura following clash between tribal and non-tribal.

On Tuesday problem started when thousands of members of the tribal political party took out a rally in Agartala demanding creation of a separate Twipraland state taking out Tribal dominated areas

In the clash at least 25 people were injured. Thousands of tribal members of the Indigenous People's Front of Tripura ( IPFT) took part in the rally. There was a scuffle in the rally.

Police clamped Section 144 of the CrPC.

Several vehicles were damaged and set a blaze.
