2023 Margin Story: More candidates won by over 50,000 votes in MP, Rajasthan polls

In MP, 47% winners had victory margin of 20K+ votes vs 31% in 2018. While in Rajasthan, victory margin of 39% winners this time was 20K+ vs 32% in 2018.

Nearly half the winners romped home by 1,500 votes in Mizoram, where an average of 17,500 votes were cast per seat.

All independents lost deposits in Telangana, Mizoram.
