20 candidates in fray for Muzaffarnagar by-polls

MUZAFFARNAGAR: Twenty candidates have filed their nomination papers for the Muzaffarnagar Assembly bypolls, officials said.

Out of the 20 candidates, 11 nominations were filed yesterday on the last day of filing the papers, according to Returning Officer Rajender Singh.

The 20 candidates include Kapil Aggarwal ( BJP), Gaurav Swrop (SP), Salman Saeed ( Congress) and Pankaj Bhardwaj ( Shiv Sena).

The assembly bypoll is scheduled to be held on February 13.
