2 lakh people need to be trained for sanitation drive success: Sulabh International head
NEW DELHI: NGO Sulabh International founder Bindeshwar Pathak said around 2 lakh people need to be trained for the success of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's sanitation drive.

"To provide sanitation facility in every household and every school, 50,000 people need to be trained as workers and with that 1.5 lakh masons need to be employed for the construction of these toilets," Pathak told PTI.

He said he has sent his suggestions for the scheme to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and has offered his assistance.

"I have personally written to Prime Minister. No one asked me for suggestions in this regard," Pathak said.
