NEW DELHI: The stiff resistance by Pakistan late order came to an end with the dismissal of Danish Kaneria who was bowled by India skipper Anil Kumble. Pakistan innings folded up for a score of 231 on the second day of the first cricket Test at Ferozshah Kotla stadium here on Friday.
The visitors were 210/8 at stumps on Day 1 with Misbah-ul-Haq unbeaten on 71 and Sami on 20 runs.
The first to depart this morning was Misbah Ul-Haq who was run out by Dinesh Karthik. Misbah made a fighting 82.
Brief Score: Pakistan 231 all out in 96.2 overs (Misbah ul Haq 82, Kamran Akmal 30, Mohammad Sami 28 not out; Anil Kumble 4-38, Zaheer Khan 2-45).
