JAIPUR: A 12-year-old boy with three patents to his name has been awarded the 'Positive Health Hero Award 2014' by cricketer M S Dhoni.

Hridayeshwar Singh Bhati, suffering from Duchenne muscular dystrophy, was honored for displaying outstanding courage and inspiring people to fight against diseases and disability, on the eve of Children's Day in Mumbai.

"Despite of being immobile, he is determined to give mobility solution to the millions as he invented mobility vehicle modification in car for those who are disable," Sarowar Singh Bhati, father of the child said here today.

"He is the only minor to have maximum patents in India and also the youngest disable person to have maximum patents in the world," he said.

Wheel-chair ridden Bhati was granted the first patent for his invention of a six-player variant of chess in 2012.
